San Diego & Imperial DEC members are appointed by the San Diego director of the U.S. Department of Commerce, working in concert with the area US Export Assistance Center to develop international trade opportunities for regional businesses. Tom Hanson joins a team of 30 members who have been appointed based upon their expertise and influence in international business.

Part of a global network of World Trade Centers and affiliate partners, WTCSD strengthens global commerce through timely and effective market intelligence, trade and educational events, and expert connections. Members include businesses or organizations involved in world trade. WTCSD is a non-profit, private-public partnership. Tom Hanson is a member of the WTCSD’s Advocacy Committee.
